Who Do You Say He Is
Who do you say He is?
Do you say He is the Messiah, the Son of God, God the Son, the Christ or the Lamb of God?
Do you say He is simply a prophet, a great teacher or just a good man?
Or do you refuse to acknowledge He existed at all?
Think about this carefully, because eternity is on the line.
He is Messiah, Son of God, God the Son, the Christ (same as Messiah) and he is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. C. S. Lewis pointed out that Jesus claimed to be God, and either he really is God, or he was lying (knowing he wasn't God) or he was deluded (he thought he was God but wasn't). He cannot have been simply a prophet or great teacher, because as a liar or a deluded fool, he could not be a "good man"--as God, he was much more than a prophet, teacher and good man. His moral character points to his deity, in the end.
